Join us in honoring Orange Shirt Day on Tuesday, Sept. 30

On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, Robbinsdale Area Schools American Indian Education will host an Orange Shirt Day Remembrance Walk along a path at West Medicine Lake in Plymouth from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

We gather on this day to honor the survivors of Indian Boarding Schools and to remember the ones who never made it home. The walk will begin with a prayer, grounding us in healing and reflection as we carry the memory of families, friends, and relatives. 

Medicine Lake provides a place of peace where we can walk together in solidarity, healing and hope. Orange Shirt Day reminds us that, "Every Child Matters." 

We welcome students, families, staff and community members to join us in this walk to honor the past and strengthen our future.
