Vision Team Explores Safety and Innovation

Note: With Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030 entering a new phase, this will be the last roundup. We will still publish a Vision Team recap for the monthly meetings through August.

This week, the Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030 Team met at FAIR School Crystal to continue shaping the future of Robbinsdale Area Schools. With a sharp focus on student experience and learning environments, the team took a deeper dive into topics that matter: safety, security, and academic innovation.

📍 Vision 2030 Team Meeting – April 30 Highlights:

✔ Explored standard operating procedures and districtwide safety practices
✔ Participated in a school walk-through to observe security features
✔ Reviewed national models of innovative learning environments
✔ Continued work on Rdale’s academic vision and long-term program planning

💬 A word from Superintendent Dr. Teri Staloch: “Creating safe, welcoming spaces is foundational—but we’re also thinking big. Our students deserve to learn in schools that are both secure and inspiring.”

📍 Student Engagement:

✔ Early May – Elementary school students will receive age-appropriate coloring and activity booklets that allows them to explore Reimagine Rdale and asks for their input on how they think schools should look and feel.

Two Distinct but Interconnected Efforts

Robbinsdale Area Schools is engaged in two parallel—but connected—efforts:

🔹 Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030: A long-term planning initiative to create a strong, sustainable, and competitive future for our district.
