Elementary students and devices

Robbinsdale Area Schools (Rdale) provides a device to students to use in the classroom and for further learning at home. (Grades kindergarten through grade 2 receive iPads, and grades 3 through 5 receive Chromebooks.) 

What families need to do:

• Review the Robbinsdale technology website for information regarding the Device Protection Plan and support. 

• Read Rdale School Board Policy 524 Network/Internet Acceptable Use and Safety Policy prior to checking out a device.

• Complete the Family Student Use Agreement form. The agreement needs to be signed by the student and parent or guardian and will be filed at the student’s school. This can be submitted electronically or brought to school. Hard copies are available at the school’s main office.
