Reminders About Birthday Treats

We know that families want to make their student's birthday a special day. However, our school district's wellness policy prohibits us from having outside food or treats brought in to share with other students. If you would like to bring in a special gift for the class, consider bringing non-food items like special pencils or stickers. Please also be sure to bring enough to share with the entire class.

Dismissal Process

Please refrain from last-minute pickups from the office during dismissal between 3:10 and 3:40 p.m. We have a very short window of time to move 475 students and load 22 buses safely and efficiently.

If your end-of-the-day plans change, please call the office or email nicole_lee@rdale.org before 1:00 p.m. so we can ensure your child is ready for dismissal. It can be very difficult to locate or bring students to the office right at the end of the school day.  Thank you for your help in keeping our dismissal process smooth and safe for everyone!
