All after-school athletics, activities, and programs are canceled today, Monday, April 28, 2025, due to the threat of severe weather this evening.
Families and staff across the district are invited to attend the upcoming K–5 English Language Arts materials adoption vendor fair, scheduled for Friday, May 2, at Sandburg Middle School. The fair, taking place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., will provide an opportunity for attendees to preview and evaluate two ELA curriculum options, which include Wit & Wisdom and EL Education.
All families with students enrolled in Rdale schools must fill out the bus transportation survey for the 2025-26 school year. The survey must be completed for each student by Friday, May 30.

The SEA PTA is collecting donations for a Spring Fling Online Silent Auction! Donated items will be used to make themed offerings which will be part of our online auction. Each GRADE has been assigned a theme(s) - Feel free to be creative and donate items that fit your grades theme. Experiences, tickets, & gift card donations are also welcome.
Dr. Kenneth Wutoh has officially joined the Robbinsdale Area Schools (Rdale) Board of Education after taking the oath of office during the Board’s regular meeting on Monday, April 7.
As we approach the upcoming state testing period, we kindly ask for your support in helping your student (Grades 3-5) feel prepared and confident. Positive words of encouragement and reminders to try their best can make a big difference. Together, we can help them feel ready to show what they’ve learned and to take pride in their efforts. Students are encouraged to do the following in preparation:
- Get plenty of sleep the night before the test.
- Eat a healthy breakfast the day of testing.
- Put forth their best effort.
MCA Dates for Grades 3-5: (9:45-11:30 a.m.)
April 15-16: Reading (Grades 3-5)
April 23-24: Math (Grades 3-5)
April 30-May 1: Science (5th Grade Only)
