This important programming provides young learners an opportunity to engage in hands-on activities and build skills to prepare for kindergarten. Part-time and full-time options are available.

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) provides eligible households a discount of up to $30 per month for internet services. Families are eligible to participate in ACP if a student in the household receives free or reduced-price school meals.

Enjoy a community meal and entertainment -- and receive a handcrafted bowl -- all while supporting local food shelves. This year’s Empty Bowls event takes place from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, at Cooper High School, 230 47th Ave. N. in New Hope.

Earlier this month information was shared with families about a districtwide initiative for families to read together for I Love to Read Month. As a part of this project, families are now invited to complete this form by Tuesday, Feb. 28 and share your I Love to Read Month activities.

District offices will be closed on Monday, Feb. 20 in observance of Presidents Day. Monday, Feb. 27 is a staff development day, so school will not be in session, but district offices are open.

Families are invited to read with their student(s) throughout the month of February in celebration of I Love to Read Month. Whether it’s some of your favorites or something new, families who participate will have the opportunity to win prizes.
