Kindergarten Lottery Information

Families interested in enrolling their child in a magnet school are required to complete and submit an application.

Incoming kindergarten students with siblings currently enrolled in School of Engineering and Arts (SEA), Robbinsdale Spanish Immersion School (RSIS), and/or Fine Arts Interdisciplinary Resource (FAIR) School Crystal who meet the application deadline will automatically be enrolled through the sibling preference policy.  The sibling preference policy also applies to incoming 4th grade students at FAIR School Crystal.  Sibling families are required to complete and submit an application by the application deadline.  If the school has more applicants than space available, new kindergarten students will be selected by lottery.

Robbinsdale Area Schools is pleased to offer tuition-free all day kindergarten at all 10 elementary schools, including FAIR, RSI, and SEA. (Half-day placements are available upon parent request).
